New Category for “Ag Gag” Laws and regulations, Idaho Most-Enhanced
Your Pet Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) announces the publication from the 2012 U.S. Animal Protection Laws and regulations Ratings Report, ALDF’s seventh annual are convinced that adequately surveys animal protection laws and regulations of U.S. states and areas. A long-running and many authoritative report available, the Ratings Report analyzes the effectiveness of each jurisdiction’s animal protection laws and regulations by analyzing over 4Thousand pages of laws. The Ratings Report added a brandname-new group of assessment this season to take into account the passage of “ag gag” laws and regulations. These laws—propagated through the corporate agriculture lobby—aim to hide animal abuse, food safety risks, and illegal working conditions from customers by which makes it illegal to video record or photograph at farming facilities. Iowa and Utah both passed “ag gag” legislation this year, adding for their particular drops in rank this season.
